Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This policy explains what information this website does and does not collect, how advertising and analytics cookies are used, and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises.
What we collect
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to or stored on any server we control. When you share a result, your inputs are encoded into the page URL — they live in that link, not in a database.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses or payment details. The only data gathered is the standard, largely anonymous usage and advertising data described below, handled by the third-party services we use.
Cookies & advertising
This site uses or may use Google AdSense to display ads, which helps keep the tool free. To serve ads, Google and its partners use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and others.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites.
- Some third-party vendors may also use cookies to serve ads on this site.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visitingGoogle Ads Settings. For opting out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising, seeaboutads.info/choices.
Analytics
We use or may use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the tool is used — which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. This data is largely anonymous and is used to improve the calculator. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and may process a truncated form of your IP address; we do not use it to identify you personally.
EEA & UK rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, data protection law gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or delete it, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because most processing on this site happens through Google's advertising and analytics services, you can exercise many of these choices through the opt-out links above and within your Google account. You may also contact us using the details below.
California rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Personalised advertising may be considered "sharing" under California law; you can limit it through theGoogle Ads Settingsand the opt-out links above, or by contacting us.
Children's privacy
This is a general-audience reference tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually.
